It's great, but it's more important to get to know each other. If you want to be bf and gf, you need to see each other, even if its just chilling out somewhere, or doing something fun. Not seeing each other is like saying you're free to see others. This girl has trust issues, and she's not and independent thinker yet if she is so easily influenced by her friends. well im thinking on buying the roxy silhouette underwater snowboard. I am no where near a snowboard shop at all so i have to get mine online. Okay, I'm gonna ask this question again cause some people were being stupid about their answers and completely misinterpreting the question. We have a Niece that was orphaned last year, her mother died giving birth to her with AIDS, but she didn't contract it. Her father has never been heard of since her mother's death and presumably never wanted to take responsibility for her well being. Our family has just formally adopted her, and my sister insists on being the legal guardian of the child, though she hasn't finished school herself, so she's basically the parent. Our parents, since we're all living in one roof, are funding for all our education and welfare including the child; a school has been picked and she should start this September as she's now old enough for kindergarten. The problem however, arises when it comes to disciplining the child. Some of my siblings and the servants believe that the best way to raise her would be the beat her. They think this is effective because they were all beaten at this age until their late teens. And the same goes to me, I was beaten by the servants, as my parents gave them permission to do so, and my parents, mostly my mother beat me as she thought it would instill discipline on my siblings as well as myself. So it's really a chain of bad parenting and I want it to stop. As a child who was beaten most of her life, I think that though you beat a kid because you want them to learn, they only do what they think is the right thing at the time because they're afraid of being beaten again. And what's more is that beating creates fear, fear is completely different from respect. So just because a child is doing right and admits a mistake after a beating, just means they did it out of fear and not genuine respect and manners. Sometimes when I'm with this girl, even to hear the faint voice of my sister from a distance or any other person that beats her, I can already sense the fear. You shouldn't put a child in a position where their that scared. I think that she's become even worse off than she was when she first came in terms of discipline, and I blame it on the beating. Initially, she'd go the toilet fine and eat her food fine, if she had a problem she'd tell you, and she wouldn't even talk so much. Now she's approximately 4 years old this August, and she's all over the places throwing tantrums being loud and rowdy and all that whatnot. She's gradually learning violence as a result of the beating, and it's reached a point where she literally won't take anyone seriously unless you show her you'll beat her or make her think that you'll use physical force to make her do what she's supposed to do. I personally use a different mode to get things done and p my message through. If she doesn't finish the vegetables or doesn't go where she's been sent or do what she's been asked to do, I take away her favourite toy cause I know that it's of sentimental value to her, and tell her that if she wants the toy back, she has to finish her chores. And it works. But when I try and explain this kind of thing to my sister, she doesn't wanna listen and goes on and on about how we shouldn't tell her how to raise her kid. Same thing goes for the servants that beat her, they don't wanna hear it, and what they say about beating the kid goes, same to my mother. Another problem is that though they beat the kid, she doesn't understand when people say no to her. She's been force fed with starchy foods and sweets and juices... so whenever she sees you have something nice to eat she wants your food even after she's already eaten. When you tell her no, she nags to get her way. They give her the juice at the wrong time, especially at night, which is really a stupid thing to do cause there's a very high probability she's bound to wet the bed by the morning. Even when she was on diapers, they put her off the diapers, now. Which of course leads to more beating cause she wet the bed, and she's left there confused. Now when she wants to go to the toilet she's scared and doesn't say anything and sometimes pisses on herself. Which leads to more beating. Instead of explaining to her what she did wrong, my sister and those who beat her literally beat her and shout to her about what she did wrong. Now evidently when inflicting such pain on a child, she's already crying too loud to even hear you. So she simply cannot comprehend what it is you're doing and why you're doing it to her. She touches everything, wrote all over my school books that I was using to prep for my exams which was a bummer, and I told her unless she's under supervision my room is out of bounds, and now she got it and doesn't enter unless someone else is there. Allergic reaction maybe?

I have strep. I went to the doctor yesterday. I was given an antibiotic shot and penicillin antibiotic pills to take. My tonsils themselves feel better, but I just woke up and the back of the roof of my mouth is sore and that "hanging thing" is extremely swollen and is making it more difficult to breathe. I'm not on the brink of death or anything, but it's concerning me because it hasn't been swollen with this strep at all. Am I maybe having a reaction of some kind or is it normal for that thing to swell? I've had strep 289743 times in my life and this has never occurred. And I've also had penicillin before with no complications. I'm 20 if that makes a difference too. Thanks guys =)

What is wrong with my family?

I have been married for 6 years to a wonderful woman who loves me very much. But my family makes her feel bad, and I understand why she feels that way. Every girlfriend, male friend, teacher, or neighbor I have had over the years, once meeting my family (Mother, and Aunts) our relationship fell apart. I am very tender hearted, so sometimes I am impervious to problems. Is it possible to still have a relationship with them and still have the others? My wife tolerates them because of her love for me, but I don't know how to carry on from here and be respectful to my family. They are not going to change. Most of my family has been treated for a mental disorder, and some of the doctors has labeled them socially illiterate. Could my radiator be frozen or my gaseline or both?

98 plymouth neon, been running hot put water in last.. and then a day later it snowed stayed in house for 3 days went out to start car sound like it wanted to start but didn't. checked the tube that is connect to radiator and it had ice in it, i put warm water in the radiator where the antifreeze go to melt the ice it worked, also i gave it a jump but still nothing. it did not start ( also last time i drove it was a line right before empty) brand new battery just 2months old......What could be wrong?and do i need to buy a whole new radiator and water pump?

I came back from the er today spent 6 hours there from 345 to 10am.I went in there with cramps and bleeding. first they asked to take a urine test and a blood test. the doc came in and refered me to get a ultra sound. my tests showed i was still possitive of being pregnant but the ultra sound showed nothing not even the sack.they did two ultra sounds the regular and the probe one. very frustrating to sit there and not understand whats going on. a different doc came in and said they honestly cant tell me whats going on that they cant find anything and that i have to come back to geta blood test in 2 days. he left the room and told me hes going to talk to a obgyn and he came back and asked if i recieved a l exam i said no and he basically told me if the cervix is open that im not pregnant and found out that my cervix is open. very hard to handle. he did tell me that there is a slim chance im still pregnant but either way i need to see a obgyn. is there any chance my baby is still there and is healthy?

Hi everyone , Im seventeen years old. Almost 2 months ago I woke up one morning to see floater 24/7 they didn't go away after 4 days so I went down to our local hospital to get examined. I went to see a optometrist & he did a exam examination with a microscope & dialted my eyes. He told me that there was nothing wrong with my eyes. I could understand how there was nothing wrong yet I was seeing this in my vision. I then talked to another doctor and he had told me that there was nothing the matter with me and that what I was seeing was normal floaters that everyone see's but does not notice .. he said they would go away over time. They did end up going away. Then here I am 2 months later and It's back agian. I do not want to go through that awful percidure agian for nothing but I am concerend and am not sure what to do. Im only 17 and my parents do not care that this is happening to me, I am very scared I am going to loose my eye sight. I see Tons of floaters usually on walls far away or in the sky when I look up.. What should I do about all this craziness around me? How do I cope?

I had to evict my lifelong friend from my home last week and move back in b/c he was doing drugs and refused to let me come home even if he cont. to live here rent-free. Then the guy I was dating went back on crack, but he is better now and we are still talking. My estranged husband is coming back around me now but he is still on methadone--legally and smokes pot-illegally. He refused to give either up wants me to give up all my friends. My other best friend is in the hospital with two blood clots on her lung and my other friend is in the psych ward . I was in the psych ward about a month ago. I am off work until next Friday. I have so much going on that I don't know what to be doing with myself. I have been going to church and that helps. My mom got mad at me for talking to my husband again and refuses to talk to me anymore--she cut me out of her life again. You must practice hard and non-stop. You must read in between lines. you must devour his words and enter his mind, but still write with yours. There seems to be no other way, but there is plenty of ways. Practice, but I believe the best writing comes from strong emotions that are impracticable to get around. Writing is arduous, but if you are ardently in love with writing, it will come to you the way it comes to few. I dream of writing one novel alone worthy of comparison to Shelley"s. Remember that in Gothic Literature, the character is often the monster itself. In Frankenstein, the monster is Victor Frankenstein and not his creation. Have fun writing, but Gothic writing often involves a troubled mind. There also doesn't have to be a monster physically. Try to do one mentally. That would be something of great beauty. I missed a dose of my prescribed medicine this morning by accident, and my it was slightly less itchy. The medicine is 'KERFLEX' 500mg capsules. I have to take a capsule once three times a day. I am a freshman in college (well basically a sopre since tomorrow is my last final). My first semester I got a 2.8 because I got a D in math... only because I had so many health issues(flu, mono, viruses, and the school thought I had swine flu). My school was on high alert this year because we had a huge swine flu outbreak that they were just sending me hope all the time...but I was so sick that it was really best anyway. I was able to maintain average grades in all my other cles during this period of time except for math, basically because it is just impossible to teach yourself math at home. It was really hard for me to keep up with work at home, because we all know that professors don't always care. Since this is my first year, I was not well informed about options such as medical withdrawals and awesome things like that. This semester I did a lotttttttttt better. I also had a c-section, so those loose fitting clothes and underwear will really come in handy. You will probably want a pair of house shoes to walk in...those floors can be so cold and slippery too, so try and get some with a non slip bottom if you can...socks work too, but I didn't want to just walk around in them in the hospital..plus my feet were really swollen so socks weren't very comfortable for me. You will probably want other toiletries such as a tooth brush, body wash,etc...(you are probably planning on bringing those, just thought I would add them). A pillow,blanket, or both..I just felt more comfortable with my own..and those hospital pillows can be rather flat. Nursing bra's if you plan on feeding, if not you may want to take an extra bra anyway. Sanitary pads,the hospitals pads can be uncomfortable and bulky..they were for me. Hair Tye's.to pull your hair back with. I forgot mine..lol. Snacks for the hospital stay..you will want something to snack on. For the baby, you can bring your own pacifier (if you are going to give the baby one). Most hospitals only have a certain kind, so if you want to bring your own..its fine. The provide all baby care items. However, the hospital that I delivered at provided long t-shirts for the babies to wear and then kept them wrapped it blankets. I brought my own clothes and socks (they didn't provide them) for the baby to wear. I hope this helps. Congrats and good luck.

And they had to keep me but I kept getting sent home because my cervix stayed at one and my water even broke at one cm and i had group strep b but my labor was 15 and 1/2 hours she was my first and she was posterior(faceup) hard to push out... good luck

Dating a girl who left her kids?

For almost 3 years I was dating a girl who left her kids. What happened was she walked out on her husband and 2 and 4 year old for her friend's husband who she was having an affair with. that lasted about one week. She moved into her parents house and started to date various guys. I met her a year later and she really tried to clean up her act. She got 50/50 of her kids and things were going well. And I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt. Then she I caught her cheating on me as well, 2 or 3 times that I know of. I love her very much, but she got into drugs (which I don't know if she's still on), losing money hand over fist, and became even more wild, I even think she might of hooked up with my friend, Last I knew she wanted to be friends and still see me, but she's seeing some biker gang member (most liely her flavor of the month). I know this girl will try and get back with me, she even dropped off something I gave her a long time ago (that I have no use for) just yesterday. How are wheeled excavators steered?

Hi does anyone knows how is a wheeled excavator steered? Is it a mechanical steering like other wheel loaders. Seems impossible because the excavator cab can do 180 about the undercarriage. I thought it must be hydraulically operated or skid steered, but my CAD teacher asked it to mechanically couple the wheels with the steering wheel. my husband and i have always used the pull out method, except when ttc, and i NEVER once became pregnant. we recently stopped using this method because we were ttc and it only took us 2 tries until i became pregnant. currently 7 weeks along (yay!) everyone (we've told) called me fertile myrtle, so it's not like i never became pregnant with the pull out method because i had infertility issues. as long as you do it the right way, you should be safe. we've been doing it for 6 years. :)
